Using
a combination of hardware and software, and radio and network
links, Igris integrates solutions for industrial communication
requirements. If you need to provide remote communications
between machines and instrumentation devices, Igris can

Often,
the communications link is only one part of the requirement.
Sometimes, the machine may have no communication interface
- in which case we will find suitable signals on the machine
and install electronic devices to communicate the signals.
Where
a communications link exists, it may be the wrong type e.g.
RS485 when you need Ethernet. Or when the signal is received
from the machine, you may need custom software to turn the
signals into meaningful information e.g. graphs, tables,
etc.
To overcome
these issues, Igris uses network protocol converters, PLC's
(Programmable Logic Controllers), radio devices and custom-built
Windows programmes to provide complete end to end solutions.
For
communication solutions, we use cabled and radio solutions
including short range (a few hundred metres) and long range
(10 km) radio, and mobile telephone based communications
- which provide worldwide coverage.
