| Igris
produces tailor-made software for applications and processes
using PLC's.
PLC's
(Programmable Logic Controllers) are the mainstay of industrial
process automation. A PLC will normally have a few switchable
inputs and outputs and a microprocessor which is programmed
to change the outputs depending on the inputs, internal
counters and timers.
Many
PLC's can be linked together using a network. This allows
machines in different parts of a factory to be linked together
e.g. conveyors and machines on a production line.
Connecting
the PLC's to a central PC also allows central control and
monitoring of the process from a control room PC.
Igris
designs and implements automation projects using PLC's.
We can design the PLC programmes, configure the network
architecture and design PC Windows programmes to provide
monitoring and control of the process.
All
PLC's are similar in their operation and programming and
we are happy to use whichever type of PLC fits your requirements.
We can
also provide special PLC's that provide much more flexibility
than normal PLC's through the use of 'C' programming language,
and flexibility in configuring special inputs and outputs
and very large memory modules e.g. for data logging.
Please
contact us to discuss your requirements.
